The Divesites of Lombok

    Lombok, if translated, means Chili and is Bali's direct neighbor. It is nearly as big as Bali, but you will find that only a small part is visited by tourists. Senggigi in the Shout west is the main tourist destination with hotels established there for quite a long time. If looking deeper, you will find something outstanding for you, the individual traveler and enthusiastic diver - the "Gili Isles". The Gili Isles are three lovely small islands, approx. one hour by boat from Senggigi, just waiting to be discovered by you...

    The rich underwater world surprizes with a wonderful aray of stone and soft coral, gorgonia fans, fields of anemone, turtles, squid, octopus, stingrays plus manta and shark are also often encountered.

   At present, we have scheduled a basic Lombok dive safari. Various combinations are available and listed below. We always discover new dive sites and interesting new routes during our dive safaris, thus our programme is permanently expanding. We thoroughly test every new idea and route before putting it on schedule to be on the safe and professional side.

   Details of a 3 days / 2 nights dive safari to the islands of " Gili Air or Gili Trawangan ".

Gili Air 3 days/2 nights Itinerary:

Day 1 pickup at your hotel and transfer to airport. We will board the flight to Mataram where our experienced staff are waiting to welcome and transport you by car to the jetty where you will board our boat for a 25 minute journey to Gili Air. Upon arrival our English speaking instructor will welcome you and guide you to the hotel Gili Air.

As soon as  everyone is comfortable, we will conduct our first dive. There are sixteen different dive spots waiting to be explored. After a relaxed surface interval we will make the second dive.

The end of the day will be celebrated at one of the beach restaurants, while having dinner together and reviewing the impressions of our first day at Gili Air. Over night in Gili Air Hotel.


Day 2 After breakfast we will conduct an early morning dive, one afternoon dive and a night dive to round out the day. In between we will have plenty of time to relax, swim, snorkel, walk around the island, or simply watch the palm trees moving in the exotic breeze. Over night in Gili Air Hotel.

Day 3 Until 11 am you will have some free time before we depart for Lombok - Bali - Padang Bai. On arrival, we will bring you back to your hotel or to our Tauch Terminal Tulamben Resort, regarding to your chosen accommodation.
